I was hanging out with my friends Katie and Kellie tonight and they started talking about their "101." I gave them a funny look and asked them what the hell they were talking about. They went on to explain that they each have a list of 101 things to do in 1001 days. As they continued rattling off items that they had on their lists, stuff they had already done and the stuff they wanted to do, I almost tuned them out because something clicked in my brain. I had been feeling kind of listless, like I was drifting through my life. I couldn't seem to come up with any goals, any dreams like when I was younger. Now all of a sudden I could come up with a list of goals. Some would be easily attainable. Some would not. But now I would have stuff to do!!!
According to K Squared I should make most of the items realistic. But I hope to put a few bigger goals on there so I have something to aim for.
I came home, already mentally writing the list, and checked Katie's Blog to get inspiration. This is a lot harder than I first thought. I started writing my list and am only about a quarter of the way through. Unfortunately I keep coming up with wildly out there and/or expensive items so I'm trying to tone down a bit. I'm afraid if I have too many BIG things I'll get disappointed and give up before 10 days.
I'm open to ideas, whether from myself, my friends, or the universe. I am also open to anyone who wants to help me fulfill any of these. I hope this will be fun. I will let you know.
I'm going to work on my list and once I have at least 50 items I will post it. Stay tuned!!!!!
Okay I lied. I've started posting my list, but does my 1001 days start now or when my list is complete? I will keep working on it during the Oscars....
